Freeform is going mythical with its plans for New York Comic-Con 2017.
The network is highlighting its new series Siren with a live mermaid exhibit; taking Beyond into VR, and producing exclusive giveaways like the posters for each show, designed by Marvel comics artists.
Freeform will making a big splash at New York Comic-Con 2017 – the network is planning panels for two hit shows (Shadowhunters and Beyond – both of which will feature footage from their upcoming seasons) and the world premiere of new series, Siren, which will be followed by a Q&A session.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger – along with the other three shows – will give fans a unique experience at Freeform’s activation zone.

ABC and Freeform are taking ten series to SCAD’s aTVfest in Atlanta.

Freeform has ordered a second season for its new sci-fi hit Beyond.
The story of Holden Matthews – a young man who awakens from a twelve-year coma with powers he neither understands, wants nor can control – has become a ratings bonanza for the network through a combination of linear (weekly) viewing and bingewatching the entire first season.
For those who are interested in the numbers, read on.
Burkely Duffield has one of those everyman faces. The 24-year-old Canadian actor has started to string himself an impressive list of credits that include appearances in Minority Report The TV Series, Warcraft: The Beginning, The Tomorrow People and Supernatural. He’s now getting his big break heading up Freeform’s Sci-Fi series Beyond. If Stranger Things and Kyle XY had a baby it’d be Beyond. Beyond’s has a special 2-hr premiere Monday, January 2, 2016. The entire series is also going to be streaming on Freeform’s App after the special premiere. I’m not clear on if it’s going to be all 10 eps or will just be weekly.
Monday, December 26th arrives and you are Christmas’d out – tired, cranky (didn’t get the one special present you were hoping for; turkey stuffing sandwiches don’t sound at all appealing and Boxing Day sales might just push you over the edge…).
Cheer up! Freeform has you covered with its Moments to celebrate programming event! It will cover you until the New Year with fan fave films – including a Harry Potter Weekend – and a sneak preview of the network’s new series, Beyond (we’ve seen the two-hour premiere and it’s very entertaining!).
The fans of Denver, Colorado have won an exclusive screening of the season two premiere of Shadowhunters and the series premiere of Beyond. The screening will be held on December 10th. Cast members from both series will participate in a moderated Q&A following the screening.
Passes for the special screening of the two Freeform premiere episodes are limited and available on a first come, first served basis as of 12:30 pm EST. Follow the jump for details.
At Freeform’s New York Comic-Con 2016 panel for Beyond, the network announced that the entire first season of the series would be available for binge-watching multiple digital platforms, including the Freeform app, Freeform.com, On Demand and Hulu.
