Netflix Reveals Cast and Titles for Black Mirror Season 4!

Netflix has announced – at the Edinburgh International TV Festival – the key cast, directors and episode titles – for the fourth season of Black Mirror. As usual, series creator Charlie Brooker has written every episode.

The biggest name is Jodie Foster – who directs an episode entitled Arkangel.

Some of the more familiar actors in season four include: Rosemary Dewitt, Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti and Jimmi Simpson. Name directors also include David Slade, Tim Van Patten and Toby Haynes.

Season Four of Black Mirror will premiere in 2018.

Where The Hell Are We Featurette: Cracking Black Mirror!

We’re two days away from the third season premiere of the series the New Yorker described as ‘a Twilight Zone for the Digital Age,” Black Mirror.

The World We Live In Teasers: Black Mirror: Season 3!

Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror is an examination of the world we live in and the way technology affects us – set in twenty seconds into the future or a kind of alternate new.

The New Yorker called it ‘The Twilight Zone for the Digital Age’ and I see no reason not see it in those terms – especially given the two featurebits for Nosedive (pictured above) and Playtest, two of the season’s six episodes, just released by Netflix.

Netflix Announces Premiere Dates for Nine Series – Including Gilmore Girls: Seasons and Hispanic One Day at a Time!

If you’ve waiting forever to hear those four little words with which Amy Sherman-Palladino planned to end the run of Gilmore Girls – on November 25th you will get to binge the four-part Gilmore Girls: Seasons! The announcement trailer follows the jump.

Netflix announced the Gilmore Girls: Seasons global premiere along with eight other series: Black Mirror, Chef’s Table: France (season three); Easy (series premiere); The Ranch: Season One, Part 2; Lovesick (season two);  Beat Bugs (series premiere); Captive (series premiere), and One Day at a Time (Hispanic reworking of the legendary Norman Lear series. Series premiere).

The 74th Annual Peabody Entertainment Awards Announced!

The 74th George Foster Peabody Entertainment Awards were announced today.

Quality entertainment comes in all shapes and sizes and this year’s winners include Jane the Virgin, a unique telenovela from The CW; The Americans, a series about KGB spies in 1980’s America and Black Mirror, a British series that could be described as the dark side of The Twilight Zone.
