New York Comic Con takes place October 5th – 8th at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
VIZ Media will be heading to the Midwest to deliver an exciting weekend of fun panel discussions, booth giveaways, and exclusive retail items for sale at Anime Central 2017.
The VIZ Media Official Panel will feature classic and upcoming VIZ titles while the Sailor Moon panel will celebrate the Guardians of Love & Justice with can’t-miss news and plenty of sparkle and fun.
The will be giveaways at the VIZ booth and advance copies of upcoming titles.
Anime Central 2017 will take place from May 19th to 21st in Rosemont, IL, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the adjacent Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, located less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.
VIZ Media has streamlined its access to Weekly Shonen Jump via Google Play. Issues of the weekly manga magazine can now be accessed directly through Google Play – instead of having to be accessed theough Google Play via VIZ Manga App or Android-based Weekly Shonen Jump App.
The popular online anime series RWBYis coming to VIZ Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump with an ongoing series created by acclaimed manga artist, Shirow Miwa (Dogs: Bullets and Carnage).
The new series, which premieres in today’s edition of the maga anthology magazine, is actually a prequel to the anime series – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long have yet to join the Beacon Academy.

With summer now over, it’s time for school and VIZ Media is putting on two promotions for its hit manga Assassination Classroom: in the digital volume sale, all available volumes of the series are $4.99 each; in the digital bundle sale, volumes 1-11 are $45. Both promotions run from October 4th-10th.
Tokyo Ghoul: Days – the first in a series of novels based on Sui Ishida’s hit manga series, Tokyo Ghoul – will be released on October 18th. Pre-orders are being taken now.
Hunter x Hunter is being added to Weekly Shonen Jump’s free section and the first seven volumes of Assassination Classroom will also be added for duration of creator Yusei Matsui’s New York comic-Con appearance.
