Yuto Tskudo, creator of culinary manga series Food Wars!, will make his North American debut at Anime Expo 2017 – courtesy of VIZ Media.
He will take part in two panels – the Weekly Shonen Jump Official Panel and the Food Wars! panel – as well as sitting for four autograph sessions.
VIZ will also have sale on the bundled first two volumes of Food Wars! and copies of Food Wars Vol. 19 available before street date.

Long out of print, Yukito Kishiro’s classic manga series Battle Angel Alita is available today for the first time in nearly a decade, with a stunning new translation of the first three volumes available exclusively as a digital release from Kodansha Comics via comiXology Originals. Deluxe hardcover editions will follow in the Fall.
The iconic manga series is currently being produced for film by James Cameron.

As it happens, Hirohiko Araki – creator of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has written such a volume: Manga In Theory and Practice: The Craft of Manga.
It will be released in North America by VIZ Media – the North American distributor of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and will be in stores on June 6th.

The manga adaptation of Splatoon – arguably the world’s most colorful third-person shooter game – is coming to North America later this year, courtesy of VIZ Media.
The game centers around characters known as Inklings, which can transform between humanoid and squid-like forms, and hide or swim through colored ink sprayed on surfaces using shooters, blasters, or chargers and slosher, or brush-based weaponry.
In the Splatoon manga series, four Inklings get caught up in a Splatoon Turf War that launches them into all-new adventures inspired by the hit Nintendo video game.
