Hulu and Funimation Ink Expand Partnership to Increase Access to Internationally Popular Anime!

Hulu and Funimation have announced a multi-year partnership and output deal. The new deal will grant Hulu a first look at U.S. streaming video on-demand rights to future anime series produced and released by Funimation beginning in 2019.

This will allow Hulu and Funimation to stream even more quality anime series and add to a partnership that already has both streaming hit shows like Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia and Tokyo Ghoul.

VIZ Media Sets Tokyo Ghoul Complete Box Set Release for October!

Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human, half-Ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers.

Ken Kaneki’s story – Tokyo Ghoul Complete Box Set –  will be in stores on October 16th.

Vampire Knight Memories Leads VIZ Media’s Digital August Releases!

VIZ Media launches its digital edition of Vampire Knight: Memories Vol. 1 this month, while Tokyo Ghoul (Vol. 14) and Maid-Sama (Vol. 9) conclude their runs.

Notable new additions to VIZ’s digital library include (but are not limited to) Assassination Classroom (Vol. 17), Food Wars (Vol. 19) and One Piece (Vol. 83), while My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is now available through the Weekly Shonen Jump app.

VIZ Media Premieres Special Boruto: Naruto The Movie English Dub at Katsucon 2017!

VIZ Media will give a special English dub of Boruto: Naruto The Movie its world premiere at Katsucon 2017 this weekend. Several members of the English voice cast will be appearing.

Katsucon 2017 is the company’s first anime convention of the year, so they have a couple cool panels scheduled as well – the VIZ Media Panel (celebrating several fan favorite titles); the Sailor Moon Panel (featuring key members of Sailor Moon’s English voice cast).

Katsucon 2017 takes place February 17-19, 2017 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, located in the D.C. metro area in National Harbor, MD.

Yo-Kai Watch, Tokyo Ghoul Novel and One-Punch Man Lead Viz Media’s January Digital Manga Releases!

VIZ Media opens its new year with the digital debuts of Yo-Kai Watch, the Tokyo Ghoul: Void novel and the Dragon Ball Full Color Freeza Arc – along with of One-Punch Man Vol. 11 and Platinum End Vol. 2.

VIZ Media Adds Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto Novels, Gangsta Spin-off Manga!

VIZ Media has acquired North American rights to three original Tokyo Ghoul novels, three more Naruto novels and a manga spin-off focusing on characters from the Gangsta series – the prequel series, Gangsta: Cursed.

Tokyo Ghoul: Days, Vol. 1 and Naruto: Itachi’s Story – Daylight, Vol. 1 will debut this fall; Naruto: Itachi’s Story – Midnight, Vol. 2 and Gangsta: Cursed, Vol. 1 will premiere this winter; Tokyo Ghoul: Void, Vol. 2 is set for early 2017; Naruto: Sasuke’s Story: Sunrise is slated for Spring 2017, and Tokyo Ghoul: Past, Vol. 3 is listed as ‘Forthcoming.’

Tokyo Ghoul – Caught Between The Living and the Dead!

When a shy student named Ken Kaneki gets a date with a gorgeous girl he’s thrilled. Unfortunately, she only wants him for his body – as in lunch! She’s a ghoul – an undead flesh eater.

Fortunately, Ken escapes with his life, mostly – but now he has to survive in the world between human and ghoul in VIZ Media’s new horror/action manga series, Tokyo Ghoul.

VIZ Media Bringing Tokyo Ghoul and So Cute It Hurts to North America!

Tokyo Ghoul - 10-11-14

VIZ Media, home to such titles as All You Need Is Kill and Naruto, has announced acquisition of the North America licensing for horror series Tokyo Ghoul and cross dressing high school comedy So Cute It Hurts.
