Not for the faint-hearted. Check it out after the break. John Wick: Chapter 2 opens on February 10th.

Just Believe Trailer: Sleight!

The new trailer for BH Tilt’s Sleight – starring Jacob Latimore (the only good thing about Collateral Beauty) – is a trip, filling in detail only hinted at in last month’s 40-second teaser.

It appears, at first glance , to be a DIY superhero origin, but look more closely and it’s the story of a kid who has to take on the responsibilities of adulthood way too fast – with amazing powers being a metaphor for individual growth.

Check it out after the break.

Immersion Works Trailer: Bon Cop Bad Cop 2!

It’s been not quite a decade since Ontario cop Martin Ward and Québec cop David Bouchard met on a case and overcame some slight… shall we call them… cultural differences to get the job done.

Now their paths are crossing again and, though they’ve remained friends since overcoming those cultural differences, it’s been a year since they last spoke and they find themselves working a case about a car theft ring that may be more than it appears.

Bon Cop Bad Cop 2 Will be in Canadian theaters on May 12th – and American release date is TBD. Check out the trailer after the jump.

Bear In Mind This Isn’t The Red Band Trailer Trailer: CHiPs!

When I first heard that Warner Bros. was turning CHiPs into an action-comedy movie I was a bit leery – but then it occurred to me that they might turn it into a 21 Jump Street kind of update.

The first trailer premiered last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live and it seems like that’s what’s happened. Now I’m not so sure it was a good idea. I laughed at the trailer, but not nearly as much as I was expecting to.

CHiPs stars Dax Shepard and Michael Peña as Officers Jon Baker and Frank “Ponch” Poncherello. It opens on March 24th. The trailer follows the jump.

Hello Teaser: Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!

Belle (Emma Watson) in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic directed by Bill Condon. Photo courtesy of Walt Disney Studios.

A new TV spot for Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast features Emma Watson’s Belle singing Hello against a montage of the character meeting her host/captor and others.

It’s quite enchanting.

Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast opens on March 17th.

It’s Not Déja Vu If You Haven’t Actually Been There Trailer: Alien: Covenant!

The first trailer for Alien: covenant seems to be merging the ‘haunted house in space’ feel of Alien with the action/horror sensibility of Aliens. Intriguing.

Alien: Covenant will be in theaters on May 19th.
