Fans of FX’s American Horror Story can begin the journey to the next installment at a special stunt this Thursday night at San Diego Comic-Con. This first step, which will open the door to all future reveals ahead of this fall’s premiere of AHS’s seventh installment, will take place at 9:15 PM PT at the water’s edge adjacent to the “FXHibition” space at the Hilton Bayfront Park.
San Diego Comic-Con 2017 takes place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, during the weekend of July 19 – July 23.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story will now be the second installment of FX’s award-winning American Crime Storylimited series franchise – instead of Katrina: American Crime Story. Production of ‘Versace: ACS’ began in April and it is tentatively slated to debut in early 2018.
The series premiere of Feud: Bette and Joan (FX, Sundays, 10/9C) is the story of one of Hollywood’s greatest feuds – that between Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) as they made Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (the only time they ever worked together).
It’s also the story of how these two fading stars fought misogyny, sexism and ageism in Hollywood while trying to extend their careers and retain their hard won fame.
Matthew Broderick has been cast Federal emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Director Michael D. Brown in Katrina: American Crime Story – the second installment in Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story anthology series.
Brown was in charge of the federal disaster response to Hurricane Katrina.
After a successful season that tied every one of its previous seasons together into a single continuity, American Horror Story has been renewed for seasons 8 and 9 (it was previously renewed for season seven) by FX.
