Fifty years of Comic-Con, and I was there to discover what new treats lay for the attendees of this vast convention devoted to comic books. Comic Con ran from July 18-21, with preview night on July 17. Announcements, screenings, and trailers for returning and upcoming new TV shows and movies were present daily. There was so much to see and so little time to see them!
What’s up everyone it’s day two of my Comic-Con Adventure. Preview day didn’t end as I would have liked, but still a good first day. Today the fun starts, I have a pretty easy Comic-Con schedule this year so on the agenda or today, I’m doing Panels for the first time ever. I’m checking out Netflix’s The Order and SyFy Channel’s Van Helsing. We also have interviews lined up with both casts. Then I’m talking with the cast of Netflix’s Undone and ABC’s Emergence. The day ends with a VIP Event for The Orville, Top Golf and a party with the cast of Terminator (I’m guessing). So a pretty stacked day.
Yes people, your fearless leader is at Comic-Con 2019, I’ll be posting videos and daily recaps and previews at the show. I’m heading out to breakfast, but if you want to see what my day is like today, check out my preview Video!
All the rumors of DC Universe’s pending death may be premature, if today’s news is any indication. The Streamer is going big, no HUGE for Comic-Con 2019. While Warner Movies will not be hosting hall H panels, the entire DC universe is going to be all over the show and will have over 47 panels! 47! Featuring everything from comics to animation to tv to film and will have the largest booth at Comic-Con. They are bringing the Shazam Thunder! They are even doing the world premiere of Batman: Hush, Friday night at 7pm. Check out the press release for all the highlights!
Ok, this sounds pretty awesome. If you ever wanted to live Batman’s life, DC and AT&T are teaming up to bring Batman fans something truly special for this year’s Comic-Con. In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Batman, DC and AT&T* today announced THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE POWERED BY AT&T, a massive, interactive exhibition that includes the largest-ever collection of Batman-related props, costumes and vehicles. The immersive pop-up museum and gaming-centric installation will transport fans into the crime-fighting world of the Dark Knight and will be open to the public at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park at 10 a.m. PT from Thursday, July 18th through Sunday, July 21st. No SDCC badge is required to enter this free exhibition. Does this mean we will get the long awaited announcement of the next Batman Game?
What up home slices! Your girl is going to the big show. Yes, I will be jetting off to San Diego in two weeks to attend Comic-Con 2019. This may be my last year attending, as next year I’d like to do other smaller events like Cinemacon 2020, the ATX Festival, Tribecca TV, etc. Instead of going through the logistical nightmare of Comic-Con. I managed to book a hotel in Gaslamp so I’m going to be in the thick of things.
