NBC has ordered 11 episodes of music competition series Songland – focusing on finding the next great songwriter – after all, it doesn’t matter how well you sing if you don’t have great songs to sing.
The series takes an inside look at the creative process and provides one talented winner per episode the priceless opportunity to have their song recorded for a global audience by the chart-topping artists featured in their show.
Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Audrey Morrissey (The Voice) and Adam Levine (Maroon 5, The Voice) will executive produce, with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder on board as producer.
When Cycle 8 of The Voice returns in early 2015 – it will be with original coach Christina Aguilera rejoining original coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine and relative newbie Pharrell Williams. Details follow the jump.
NBC’s The Voice is introducing The Voice 360: Be The Coach a virtual reality fan experience that could put you in a chair at The Voice’s blind auditions using Oculus Rift Technology.
Beginning today, in New York and ending on Monday, September 22nd, The Voice 360 will cross the country with four coaches chairs. Fans can sit in the chairs and, via a virtual reality headset, see the entire The Voice set and reach out to the coaches seated virtually beside them – Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

The first group of presenters for the 66th Emmys has been revealed. Among the thirteen are such stars as Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Woody Harrelson and Halle Berry. For the complete list of presenters named today, follow the jump.
