On December 9, Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy had reason to celebrate -the film was now out on Blu-ray™ 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand! To celebrate this debut, a signing event with director/co-writer James Gunn will be held at Amoeba Hollywood today from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
I hate it when PR people make announcements the day of an event. I mean what’s the point? I’ve repeatedly said that I love the Jingleball concept, you get to see all the top touring acts of the year in one place on one night. What’s not to love? In any case Jingleball 2014 is going to stream live on Yahoo tonight! Performers includeTaylor Swift, Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea, Pharrell, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, OneRepublic, Jessie J, Meghan Trainor, Charli XCX, Shawn Mendes, Rita Ora, and Rixton and Nick Jonas. You can watch the stream right here at 8pm EST!
Not to brag or anything, ok, I’m bragging but I have floor seats (that I, gasped, bought) for DC’s JingleBall show on Monday. Check back here for a full report later next week.

The former Washington QB will be on site from 1:00pm-2:00pm, following a visit to the Pentagon, for a check presentation to Toys for Tots and Homes for our Troops and to speak with media one on one about The Challenge, or giving away toys like the cars, dolls and the best lego sets out there for all the kids involved.
Ok, I know I suck, over the summer I had a chance to catch alternative rock band Big Something and the jazz instrumental fusion band Tauk at Washington, DC’s Hamilton Ballroom a few weeks ago. It was my first time at the venue and hopefully not the last. It is set next door to a hotel and features an upscale restaurant upstairs and has a large basement ballroom that serves food, drink and occasional music act. The acoustics in the place were pretty solid.
Kicking-off 2013 with a No. 1 album made history for GRAMMY® winner Chris Tomlin as only the fourth Christian album to ever do so. Following the project’s success, sold-out tour dates, Billboard Music Awards, being named a BMI Songwriter of the Year and receiving the K-LOVE Fan Award for Male Vocalist of the Year, Tomlin unveiled his tenth studio recording, Love Ran Red, inOctober. Tomlin is hitting the road in support of the new album and will be performing live at the Patriot Center on March 21.
It’s not every day Washington, DC theater goers get treated to a world premiere Broadway show, so when it happens, it feels extra special. Little Dancer The Musical has been playing at The Kennedy Center for a few weeks before it had it’s official bow November 20th.
A Nickelback backdrop adorned the stage of the House Of Blues on Sunset Boulevard yesterday afternoon, November 5. Fans waited with excitement for their favorite band. The anticipation was undeniable. Then the music started. And the magic began.
For the 1,500 lucky fans, including myself, who came to this intimate venue, it wasn’t just another rock concert. Not only was this the first time Nickelback brought a performance to the celebrated strip venue, but all proceeds went to a music/arts program for underserved youth. And it celebrated the announcement of their long awaited new album, NO FIXED ADDRESS, hitting stores on November 17!

Limos pull in front of the Writer’s Guild Theatre as throngs of people are milling about in the sidewalk. There are the flashing of cameras, entertainment news media, and known celebrities taking pictures with fans. Is it the Emmys? No, but the 5th annual Movies By Kids, For Kids Film Festival And Awards Show on November 1 in conjunction with Kids In The Spotlight and hosted by Ty Burrell, is perhaps one of the most memorable awards shows you’ll attend. The movies were created, written, and cast by foster care and underserved youth.
