The seventh-highest grossing film of all time, Rogue One’s home video release includes ten featurettes covering all aspects of the film – from the nuts and bolts of making the film to character details and Easter eggs.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will arrive on Digital HD on March 24th; the Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack and DVd releases will be in stores on April 4th.

The Expendables In a 4K Combo Pack

I have a nice 4K Oled TV and just purchased the new Sony UHD Player so I’m always on the lookout for new 4K content. The problem is most 4K UHD Movies are outrageously expensive at $30.00. Prices are slowly dropping. The Expendables 1 and 2 UHD Combo Pack will be on 4K, March 2nd for a more reasonable $22.00.

Doctor Who: The Return of Dr. Mysterio – Great Premise Well Executed!

Doctor Who: The Return of Dr. Mysterio was a first in the long history of Doctor Who – it tapped into the global appreciation of superhero comics and movies by introducing one into the Whovian mythos for the 2016 Doctor Who Christmas Special.

The combination of Time Lord and superhero worked– it holds up to repeat viewing extremely well. It’s just a shame that, as usual, there is a paucity of bonus features on the home video release (in stores this week).

Bad News: Assassin’s Creed Is Coming to Home Video!

Assassin’s Creed (aka The Complete and Utter Waste of an Oscar®-Worthy Cast) is coming to home video in Digital HD (March 10th), 4K ULTRA HD, 3D Blu-ray & DVD (March 21st).

None of its several features is an audio commentary track, so we still won’t know what heck the filmmakers were thinking.
