
In conjunction with tonight’s season three finale of Lost Girl (10/9C), Syfy is releasing Lost Girl: The Game – a free mobile gaming app built around an original storyline by the show’s writers. It will feature an ‘interactive, mission-based experience inspired by the popular Syfy original series.

Star Trek The Game is the first Trek game to be produced by Paramount. Based on the characters and situations – and featuring the principal cast members – that premiered in the 2009 reboot movie, this is one cool looking piece of work.
Follow the jump for the first in a series of ‘making of’ videos. Star Trek The Game hits shelves three days before the 45th anniversary of the original series episode Arena, which introduced the Gorn – a species that figures prominently in the game.

I just don’t know about this new trailer, but for some reason it still made me laugh. Maybe its the horses in the future. Horses! I hope we can make the horses attack, like the dogs! I miss the dogs. The biggest Entertainment event of the year is always the release of a new Call of Duty game. Here’s the shiny new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2! The new installment will take place in the future. I miss killing Nazis.

March 9th, 2012 was the release date for the Playstation 3/Xbox 360 video game Blades of Time. It is an action/fighting game that features the main character Ayumi who is a treasure hunter and finds herself alone on an island. Ayumi carries guns and swords to help protect herself as she comes across many challenges and villians. More details from the press release after the jump:

If practice is what it takes to get to Carnegie Hall, what does it take for video game design to get to the Smithsonian? That’s the question being answered by the Smithsonian American Art Museum in a new exhibit starting this weekend: “The Art of Video Games”. Despite its “American” name, the museum’s exhibit is a recognition and celebration of video games and their place in global pop culture. The accompanying book, “The Art of Video Games: From Pac-Man to Mass Effect” makes the case for video games as a legitimate artform.
