This past Monday, July 24, “Midnight Texas” finally premiered on NBC. The story centers around the remote Texas town of Midnight, Texas where being normal is really quite strange and only outsiders fit in. It is a safe haven for those who are different. When a powerful psychic arrives along with the murder of one of their own, that safety is threatened from suspicious cops, deadly biker gangs, and their own dangerous pasts. Based on the New York Times best-selling book series Midnight, Texas by Charlaine Harris, author of the novels that inspired, “True Blood”, Eclipse Magazine had the delight of getting a sneak preview days before the premiere. Now that the show has finally revealed the pilot episode, let’s take a look at what the cast and crew have shared and what we can expect to see this upcoming season.
What up people people? NBC is pulling out all the stops for their upcoming supernatural thriller Midnight Texas. They had a huge presence at Wondercon a few months ago and they are doing it again at SDCC. The cast are hosting a big Comic Con panel and roundtables on Saturday, but you don’t have to wait, I did the roundtables at Comic Con. spoke with François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley,Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, and Sarah Ramos. NBC and Universal Television’s new supernatural series Midnight, Texas will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con 2017.
Based on the trilogy by Charlaine Harris, the series follows psychic Manfred (François Arnaud) as he seeks safety in a Texas town that is much more than he suspects.
The show will take-over the entire Gaslamp Square with one of the largest interactive fan experiences yet. Midnight, Texas premieres immediately following Comic-Con weekend on Monday, July 24 at 10 P.M. ET/PT on NBC.
San Diego Comic-Con 2017 takes place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, during the weekend of July 19 – July 23.

NBC is taking three of its new genre shows – Midnight, Texas, Emerald city and Timeless to New York Comic-Con 2016 (October 6-9).
The panels for Midnight, Texas and Emerald City (October 8th) will feature screenings of their pilots and discussions with their stars and producers. The panel for Timeless (October 9th) will feature a screening of the show’s second episode followed by a discussion with the show’s stars and producers.
