Co-showrunners Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt turn up the heat in Grimm’s (NBC, Fridays, 10/9C) 100th episode, Into The Schwarzwald. The past and the present converge to show a few intriguing possibilities.
This week’s episode of Grimm (NBC, Fridays, 10/9C) is the show’s 100th – and to celebrate, they’re including a brand new Wesen created by a fan.
The Wettbewerbsgewinner was created by Jessica Short of Brooklyn, N.Y. in response to the #Grimme Your Best Shot promotion held on Tumblr last fall – specifically with an eye to using a fan-created Wesen in the landmark episode.
Executive producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf said, ‘We chose this submission because of its unique artwork and her clear passion for the show. This Wesen fits into the “Grimm” world seamlessly and her style is similar to that of the conceptual artists on the show’

Grimm (NBC, Fridays, 9/8C) returns tonight with a revelation: Nick wasn’t seeing things in the fall finale – Juliette is alive! Sort of…
As Nick tries to sort out his feelings – about Juliette’s return, about Adalind – the Black Claw goes on the offensive in an even bigger way and no one is safe.
Grimm (NBC, Fridays, 9/8C) has kicked off its third season with a threat that looks to be darker and more dangerous than anything Grimm Nick Burkhardt has ever faced before, but this week’s episode is pretty much a standalone with only one really disturbing moment building that arc.
The rest of the ep is (mostly) a unique take on Peter Pan and the Lost Boys – a very Grimm take, indeed.
Grimm’s (NBC, Fridays, 9/8C) fifth season gets underway this evening and things have changed quite a bit over the years. For instance, the evil Adalind we know and love to hate took on the appearance of Nick’s fiancée and slept with him – getting pregnant in the process. Then she was used and betrayed by the Royals.
Finally, with her Hexenbiest powers suppressed and with nowhere else to turn, she came to Nick for help. With everything in Nick’s life rapidly going to hell in the proverbial handcart, their baby might be the only good thing going on in his life right now. So he and his allies – Bud, Hank, Monroe and Rosalee – agreed to help her out.
On Thursday, Claire Coffee took some time out of her busy schedule to talk with a group of bloggers/journalists about the new, improved Adalind, the baby and how she and Adalind differ in their parenting styles.
His mother was executed in his own house; the love of his life forced her own death – last season was most unkind to Grimm Nick Burkhardt. It makes sense that all he would have left is the need for vengeance.
