Some interesting developments in the world of cinema drive this week’s installment of GeekScholars Movie NewsThe show begins with an installment of ‘Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down’ where the hosts discuss Chris Hemsworth (Thor) getting cast in the Ghostbusters reboot, Chiwetel Ejiofor joining Doctor Strange, and Joe Carnahan (The Grey) being in talks to possible write and/or direct Bad Boys 3.

From there, the GeekScholars review the first trailers for The Program, a biopic about Lance Armstrong’s cheating scandal and The Martian, a space rescue thriller starring Matt Damon. The show concludes with Fox’s quick review of Jurassic World.
