On Labor Day weekend, Prime Video is bringing best-selling author Tom Clancy’s legendary character Jack Ryan to television for the first time—Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will premiere on August 31. In anticipation of the premiere, Prime Video will air its first-ever Super Bowl ad featuring the series, which can be previewed below.
Absentia centers on FBI agent Emily Byrne (Katic). While hunting one of Boston’s most notorious serial killers, Agent Byrne disappears without a trace and is declared dead. Six years later, Emily is found in a cabin in the woods, barely alive, and with no memory of the years she was missing. Returning home to learn her husband has remarried and her son is being raised by another woman, she soon finds herself implicated in a new series of murders.

The Amazon/BBC Two co-production Good Omens (based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s global bestseller) has cast its Beelzebub and three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Anna Maxwell Martin (Philomena) is set to play the ultimate demon; Mireille Enos (The Killing) will portray War; Yusuf Gatewood (The Originals) will play Famine, and Lourdes Faberes (Knightfall) will be Pollution.
“We are hoping that Death will be played by…DEATH,” added Gaiman.
Even if you haven’t seen the funny and oddly charming pilot for Jean-Claude Van Johnson, the key art for the show (above) and the blue collar teaser for the series are enough evidence of the she show’s peculiar energy – and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s willingness to play with his image.
And yes, there will be full frontal splits at some point in the show.

Today, at New York Comic-Con 2017, Amazon presented its first trailer for Carlton Cuse’s espionage series, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan – the first time that the character has appeared in a television series.
The teaser trailer plays off Ryan’s cover story – he says he runs supply chain logistics for the western hemisphere – to great effect.
