American Idol XIV Winner Declared; Dates For Final Season Auditions Revealed!

Nick Fradiani was crowned the victor in American Idol’s fourteenth season. He performed Beautiful Life to celebrate his win.

Auditions for the fifteenth and final season of American Idol begin in Denver, Colorado on Friday, July 10th. Follow the jump for details.

AMERICAN IDOL XIV came to a sensational conclusion tonight as Nick Fradiani was crowned the winner during the live two-hour Season Finale on FOX. Fradiani, 29, from Guilford, CT, emerged as America’s choice.

Fradiani capped his coronation on Wednesday’s finale by singing “Beautiful Life,” which is available for download exclusively on and iTunes.

As AMERICAN IDOL heads into its 15th – and final – season, hopefuls across the country looking to become a part of IDOL history have ONE more chance to do so. And it begins in Denver, CO, on Friday, July 10, followed by Savannah, GA, on Wednesday, July 22; Philadelphia, PA, on Sunday, August 2; Little Rock, AR, on Saturday, August 8; and San Francisco, CA, date TBA. The broadcast from The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA, featured performances by the reunited Top 12 finalists, as well as music superstars Echosmith, Fall Out Boy, Jamie Foxx, Andy Grammer, The Jacksons, Vance Joy, Ricky Martin, Michael McDonald, Janelle Monae, New Kids on The Block, Pitbull, Nile Rodgers, Prince Royce, Chris Brown, Steven Tyler, and “IDOL” judge Keith Urban, along with fellow judges Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.

On Tuesday night’s final performance show, Fradiani and runner-up Clark Beckham each sang three songs. Fradiani performed “Bright Lights,” “I Won’t Give Up” and “Beautiful Life”; and Beckham sang “Georgia On My Mind,” “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Champion.”

Fradiani is the 14th finalist to win the coveted AMERICAN IDOL title and joins past winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, Scott McCreery, Phillip Phillips, Candace Glover and Caleb Johnson.

The “American Idol Live!” U.S. concert tour begins Tuesday, July 7 in Clearwater, FL, and stops in major cities, including New York, Chicago, Houston and Nashville before wrapping in Riverside, CA, on Friday, August 28.  Details can be found at
