The Danish Girl is a film by Tom Hooper – based on the lives of artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Lili and Gerda’s marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili’s groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer.

The Danish girl stars Eddie Redmayne as Lili and Alicia Vikander as Gerda. It opens in select theaters on November 27th before moving into additional cities in December. Check out the trailer following the jump.
