Season two of The Good fight premieres on CBS All Access on Sunday, March 4th. New episodes roll out on successive Sundays.
The Good Fight has its first trailer… and it’s a doozy!
In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart’s savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s preeminent law firms.
The good fight premieres on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8:00 PM, ET on-demand on CBS All Access, the CBS Television Network’s digital subscription video-on demand and live streaming service. In addition, a special broadcast of the premiere episode will air on the CBS Television Network that same night, Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT. Check out the new trailer after the break.
The first scripted series to air on CBS’ streaming service, CBS All Access, The Good Fight has a premiere date.
The series – a sequel to CBS award winner, The Good Wife, will premiere on CBS All Access on Sunday, February 19, 2017 (8/7C) – with a simulcast special preview broadcast on CBS. (After the premiere, episodes of The Good Fight will be found exclusively on CBS All Access.)
Production on the spin-off from The Good Wife has begun production in New York City, aiming for a February, 2017 premiere on CBS All Access.
The series stars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Paul Guilfoyle, Bernadette Peters and Erica Tazel and is being executive produced by series creators Robert and Michelle King.
CBS All Access has released the spin-off’s title on a Good Wife-style title card which you can find on the other side of the break.
CBS’ prestige series The Good Wife came to a conclusion last night in a way that harkened back to the series – though with a much different Alicia Florick than the woman we first met seven seasons ago.

CBS’ summer series BrainDead has added Tony Award-winning actress Nikki M. James to its cast. James will play a medical resident whose father died from a mysterious infection that is plaguing DC in the comic-thriller.
BrainDead stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Tveit and comes from the creators of The Good Wife, Robert and Michelle King. For further details, follow the jump.
Graceland’s Aaron Tveit has been cast as the male lead in CBS’ upcoming summer series BrainDead. In the series, he will play a ‘Republican operative whose wit is only trumped by his pragmatism’ and will work with Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s character to save the world from an insidious alien invasion in which the aliens have replaced top political leaders.
