Bait 3D – Surprisingly good B Movie. Michelle’s Review
Any movie that opens with the hero (played by Xavier Samuel) doing an exaggerated Darth Vader esq “Nooooooo!” after losing his brother in a freak Shark attack should tell you everything you need to know about how seriously you should take it. The opening sequence and a name like Bait 3D means you are in […]
John Carter comes to 3D Blu-ray and Michelle Likes It
I’m not sure why John Carter failed at the Box Office, I enjoyed the movie for what it was and thought it had the makings to be a pretty decent franchise. It is now available in a nice Blu-ray 3D Combo pack that includes the 3D, 2D and Digital Copy version of the film.
War Horse Blu-ray – Michelle’s Take
My War Horse journey is now complete. It started at the world premiere, then award season and now Joey the horse comes to Blu-ray in a 4 disc combo set. This movie holds up remarkably well and gets better with each successive viewing. I can’t say that about most movies.

Texas Killing Fields, A Nice Little Thriller, Michelle’s Review!
I know many people don’t like Sam Worthington and I’m one of them. Worthington is trying to prove that he’s not the one-dimensional actor that we all think he is. Lately he’s been doing some interesting off the radar projects like Man on A Ledge and now the serial killer mystery Texas Killing Fields.
The Double Blu-ray Review – Michelle Likes it!
The Double is a brand new straight to video (forgive me, I forgot what the PC term is these days) movie with an all star cast and high quality production values. These days don’t be scared of the StV tag, embrace it. The Double is an espionage mystery with twists turns and beautiful settings that […]
Michelle Loves Real Steel Blu-ray!
If I did a top ten list last year, Real Steel would be on it. I first watched footage of the movie way back in March when it debuted at Cinemacon. At the time, there was nothing about that 20-minutes that wowed me. The only impression I had was, “Wow, they actually made Rock Em […]
