Each time New Orleans suffers a cataclysmic event, there is a divine pairing to deal with it. Unfortunately, each time it is required that one will die.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is the story of Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson – a street kid who survives through scams and petty crimes, and a prep school kid who fears he’ll lose everything if he’s not perfect.

Freeform has released an extended trailer for Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger (below). The series’ two-hour premiere is set for Thursday, June 7th (8/7C).

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger Haunting Parallels Trailer Leading to SXSW World Premiere !

Freeform has launched an ew trailer for Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger in advance of the series’ world premiere at SXSW on March 11th.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger have a two-hour premiere on Freeform on June 7th (8/7C).

Freeform Announces Cloak & Dagger Panel At First Freeform Summt!

Freeform has announced a Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger panel for the first Freeform summit, which  takes place Thursday, January 18th at NeueHouse Hollywood.

The panel will feature stars Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph along with series pilot director Gina Prince-Bythewood, Executive Producer Joe Pokakaski and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb.

Black & White, Shadow & Light Trailer: Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger!

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger won’t make it debut until next year, but Freeform has already released a teaser for the series.

As a fan of the original comic (too many years ago), I have to say that the trailer captures the essence of the comic – the duo’s situations prior to meeting each other; the hesitance as they discover their nunique bond, and, of course, their powers.

There’s even a very cool shout out to Cloak’s comics costume (blankets can do weird stuff…).

So, while we’re waiting for the show…

Freeform Finds Its Cloak & Dagger!

It’s taken half a decade, but Freeform has finally cast the leads for its superhero coming of age series, Cloak & Dagger.

Olivia Holt (Kickin’ It, I Didn’t Do It) will portray Tandy Bowen, a former child of privilege, and Aubrey Joseph (The Night Of) will tackle the role of Tyrone Johnson, who, like Tandy, has lost a great deal – though in an entirely different way.

Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love & Basketball) will direct the pilot.
