Get uncomfortable…! In the tradition of classic grindhouse movies, Blood Drive (premiering June 14 at 10/9c on Syfy) is a new series soaked in high-octane chaos and just barely approved for television.

After Los Angeles’ last good cop (Alan Ritchson) is forced to join a twisted cross-country death race, his only hope of survival is a dangerous femme fatale who has the need for speed (Christina Ochoa).

Oh, and forget gasoline… these cars run on human blood!

Feed Your What Now? Trailer: Blood Drive!

Blood Drive, Syfy’s new high-octane series is ‘set in a near-apocalyptic future’ and ‘centers around LA’s last good cop who is forced to join a twisted, gory cross-country death race.’

Syfy has just released the first trailer and it is definitely something to behold – promising cannibals, monsters and more.

Blood Drive premieres on June 14th.

James Roday To Direct Two Eps of Syfy’s Grindhouse-Inspired Blood Drive!

James Roday, star of USA Network’s eight-season hit series Psych, has signed on to direct two episodes of Syfy’s Blood Drive.

Blood Drive stars Alan Ritchson and Christina Ochoa as, respectively, Arthur Bailey, the last good cop in L.A. and Grace, his femme fatale partner (who has an agenda of her own).

Blood Drive will premiere in 2017. For more, follow the jump.

NBC Says I Can Do That!

NBC has ordered 6 hour-long episodes of comedy/variety series I Can Do That (working title), based on an Israeli format, to be hosted by Marlon Wayans. Celebrities participating are acclaimed dancer and choreographer Cheryl Burke, superstar recording artists Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and Ciara, national standup comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson.

The tag for the series is that these celebrities will be asked to ‘bravely display entertainment skills they didn’t even know they had.’
