“In Good Company” tells the story of a man over 50 who is demoted during a corporate takeover and he ends up with a neophyle half his age as his boss. Rather slow-going for the most part and probably should have been a made-for-tv movie. GRADE = “C”
“Spanglish”
“Spanglish” is a 2-hour soap opera. An essay is read to you about the life of a young Mexican girl who comes to California with her mother. Becomes interminably boring with mostly one-dimensional characters and performances. Photography is good. GRADE = “C”

“Beyond the Sea” is a bio-pic on the life of Bobby Darin (and Sandra Dee). A sincere effort by Kevin Spacey as star and director. Mostly entertaining; some parts are overdone; miscasting of the actress for Sandra Dee. GRADE = “B”
