April 3, 2015 marked the official start of the 29th annual WonderCon in Anaheim, CA. This sold out convention once again boasts of panels with celebrities, producers, showrunners as attendees get a sneak peak of upcoming shows that will be debuting their pilot soon or simply listen to people who have brought their favorite shows back season after season.
I myself felt myself walk back in time as I remembered my first WonderCon last year. And a wonder it was. From the moment you step foot onto the Anaheim Convention Center grounds, are met with superheroes, Disney characters, and creatures that you don’t quite understand but are nonetheless creative to appreciate. For the movie and tv fans, there are panels to check out. After all, how else do you get a sneak peak at pilot episodes–before anyone else! Then don’t forget getting autographs of your fave stars too.
For the comic book purists, the comic book presence still holds its ground. Step into the convention hall and you will see booth after booth of comic book collections. Trekkies and Star Wars fans, you still have your stronghold in the convention hall. From Star Wars dolls to hand painted photos of the Star Trek cast, there is much to peruse. And then there’s video games, Hello Kitty . . . Basically, there is something for everyone!
Although it sold out this year, never fear. You can always click the links below to keep updated on the WonderCon action. And don’t forget to check out Eclipse Magazine for interviews from amazing tv shows that will be hitting your television screen this month and beyond!
