THE CREATIVE COALITION AND SUPPER SUITE BY STK REPRISE GALA BENEFIT DINNER CELEBRATING ARTS IN AMERICA AT STK WASHINGTON D.C. ON APRIL 24, 2015

Washington DC (April 25, 2015) – A-List Communications’ ‘Supper Suite by STK’ hosted The Creative Coalition’s annual Celebration of Arts in America last evening at STK DC on DuPont Circle. The annual benefit dinner capped a full day of celebrity advocacy on Capitol Hill in support of the arts in America with an exceptional evening of food and beverages helmed by STK DC chef Marc Hennessy. STK DC, Dobel Tequila®, TV Guide/TV Insider and Fleury Estate Winery graciously supported the charity event.

As has become the norm for TCC events, the evening was hosted by The Creative Coalition President, Tim Daly (Madam Secretary) and featured a lengthy list of bold-faced names from both entertainment and politics, including: Anthony Anderson (Black-ish); Michelle Trachtenberg (Gossip Girl); Rob Thomas (creator, Veronica Mars); Jason Isaacs (Dig); Constance Zimmer (Entourage); Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story); Jennifer Coolidge (2 Broke Girls); Andrew Dost (Grammy Award-winner, FUN.); Naya Rivera (Glee); Bailee Madison (The Fosters); Alanna Masterson (The Walking Dead); Connie Nielsen (The Following); Haley Joel Osment (Entourage); Emily Osment (Young & Hungry); Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars); Darby Stanchfield (Scandal); Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin); Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl); Lawrence O’Donnell (MSNBC’s The Last Word); Florida Congressman Ander Crenshaw; DC Shadow Senator Paul Strauss, Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell.

Guests were treated to exceptional STK DC fare from chef Marc Hennessy from STK DC, including a pristine Filet with Brown Butter Cauliflower Puree, Maitake Mushrooms and Marrow Butter, Skuna Bay Salmon & Tiger Prawns with Jalapeno Grits and Fava Bean Tabouleh, and Pan Roasted Chicken Breast with Wild Ramp Potato Puree and Maitake Mushrooms.

Items from the evening:

  • While giving his introductory speech, Daly paused, joking that he’s becoming tired of speaking at these events: “I can’t believe that I am saying this again. I’ve said this so many times that I want to punch myself in the face.”
  • Later, Jason Issacs asked co-presenter Michelle Trachtenberg how much money they needed to raise at the event. Her response? “A Fuckload.” Apparently Michelle’s mother was somewhat disapproving of her daughter’s choice of language.
  • Senator Paul Strauss (D-DC) was overheard pitching DC statehood to Jennifer Coolidge, Constance Zimmer and Darby Stanchfield.
  • No word on whether the assembled horde was still mourning the passing of McDreamy.
