In anticipation of the fall premiere of USA Network’s newest drama series DIG, a new chapter of the thriller’s prequel will be released every Thursday for free on Wattpad, the world’s largest community of readers and writers.
DIG’s prequel, written by Tim Kring (the creator and executive producer of Heroes) and Gideon Raff (the executive producer of Homeland), tells the story of Peter Connelly, a highly decorated FBI agent who just arrived in Jerusalem for a new assignment —there’s been a major cyber heist and it’s up to him to track the missing millions and whoever’s responsible. Not only is Wattpad allowing readers an early look into DIG’s backstory, but the platform allows for readers to comment and interact with the writers and other mystery/thriller fans. If readers are feeling particularly inspired after finishing the prequel, they can write and share their own stories through Wattpad, or access one of the many mystery/thriller stories available through the platform – which is also accessible via phone and tablet – for free.
