This movie about a Jewish doctor, along with the Sonderkomando, Jews who are forced to work in the crematoria of Auschwitz against their fellow Jews, finding themselves in a moral grey zone.
I thought the story was very interesting, but when you’ve seen something like Schindler’s List, every other movie makes the Jewish prisoners look well nourished.
I also had a hard time getting over the fact that the Germans had German accents, but the Jews sounded American.
I think the story is worth telling, but this film didn’t move me the way I had thought it might.
