When The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon premieres on Monday, February 17th, Fallon’s guests will be Will Smith and U2.

Monday, Feb. 17 Marks Opening Night as Iconic NBC Franchise Returns to Its New York Roots

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — January 19, 2014 — Will Smith and U2 have been booked as the guests for the premiere of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” set for Monday, February 17.

Smith is one of the most bankable actors in Hollywood. Twice nominated for an Oscar (“Ali,” “The Pursuit of Happyness”), he is also an established recording artist who has won four Grammy Awards.  Smith will next star in Warner Bros.’ “Focus.” 

One of the biggest rock bands in the world, U2 — lead singer Bono, guitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. — is set to release its newest album in 2014. The 22-time Grammy Award winning band, whose last album was 2009’s “No Line on the Horizon,” was just nominated for an Academy Award and recently won its second Golden Globe Award for best original song for “Ordinary Love,” from the film “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”
