The Surrogates Blu-ray Release is just Ok. Michelle’s Review

Bruce Willis returns to the action Sci-Fi genre with The Surrogates. In this strange world of the future, people use virtual “avatars,” or “surrogates” to live their “dream” lives. The dream turns into a nightmare when a murder is committed and cover-ups follow. Bruce Willis looks really goofy as his younger Surrogate. This is a very basic Blu-ray package the 1080p picture transfer is clean and flawless, audio crisp and vanilla presentation of menus and packaging. One thing that annoys me is Disney’s Total Menu link, why can’t I access other extras while I’m viewing a feature, instead I’m forced to go all the way back to the top menu level?

Comments

I liked the movie, Surrogates works well in the home and is a good time waster and Terminator 3’s Director Jonathon Mostow does a good job with this material. This package is worth a rental but there’s not enough meat to justify a purchase.  The Surrogates hits the Streets January 26, 2010.
