TNT continues to dominate Middle-Earth with its acquistion of the networks premiere rights to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug – the second part of Peter Jackson’s blockbuster Hobbit Trilogy. An Unexpected Journey will premiere in 2015 and The Desolationof Smaug will premiere in 2016. The press release follows the jump.
