War on Everyone: Three’s Not (Quite) The Charm!

John Michael McDonagh’s third film War on Everyone – on iTunes and VOD on February 3rd – isn’t quite as sharp as his previous features, but it’s still a fast-paced bit of lunatic fun.

The film follows two corrupt detectives out to frame and blackmail every crook they can – until they encounter someone who might be more dangerous than them.

This Is Your Time Trailer: Power Rangers!

The first trailer for Power Rangers looked pretty cool – as a straightforward superhero origin story – but it did lack humor.

The new trailer (after the break) rectifies that to some degree. It’s not the over-the-top camp humor of the various incarnations of the TV series, but it suggests that the film hasn’t totally forsaken its TV roots.

In fact, it’s fun.

Power Rangers will be in theaters on March 24th.

Unlikely Duos Dept. Trailer: Skiptrace!

Hong Kong’s greatest Detective (Jackie Chan) and America’s greatest fugitive (Johnny Knoxville) must team up to take down China’s deadliest gang.

Think Riggs and Murtaugh, Cates and Hammond, or even a modern version of Chan and Wilson. Then add a dash of Three Stooges and a bunch of action sequences that show Chan to be almost as nimble as ever.

That’s what the trailer for Skiptrace suggests. Check it out after the break. Skiptrace will be in theaters on September 2nd.
