USA Network’s Mr. Robot Wins SXSW Audience Award!


USA Network’s Mr. Robot is off to a great start. The show’s pilot won the Audience Award for Best Episodic at SXSW.

The show – about a young programming genius is recruited by an underground hacker group – stars Christian Slater as the titular Mr. Robot, head of the hacker group, and Rami Malek as Elliott, the recruited programming wizard.

The series goes into production on April 13th and will premiere in June.

Christian Slater Is Mr. Robot!

USA Network has signed Christian Slater to play the title role in its cybercrime pilot, Mr. Robot. His character runs an underground hacker organization bent on razing corporate America.
