Nic Cage Keeps Churning Them Out Trailer: Inconceivable!

A mysterious young woman, Katie (Nicky Whelan), and her daughter move to a new town to escape her past and quickly befriends Angela Morgan (Gina Gershon), a mother of one who longs for a bigger family. As their lives become intricately entwined, Angela and her husband, Brian, (Nicolas Cage), invite Katie to live in their guest-house to serve as their nanny.

Over time, the blossoming friendship between the two women spirals into a dangerous obsession as Katie becomes overly attached to the Morgans’ daughter. Enduring lies and manipulations, Angela and Brian realize that sweet Katie is actually trying to destroy their family from within.

Inconceivable is in theaters and on demand June 30th, 2017

Nicky Whelan, Maurice, Compte Join From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series!

El Rey has announced the additions of Nicky Whelan and Maurice Compte to cast of its hit Dusk Til Dawn: The Series for season three.

Whelan will be familiar to El Rey fans for her work in the brilliant but canceled Matador, as well as House of Lies and The Wedding Ringer.

Compte has been featured on Breaking Bad and Narcos.

Also announnced today: the complete list of directors for the season – and the episodes they’re directing. For details, follow the jump.

Bravo’s Cover Is At Risk This Week on Matador!

One of the most entertaining shows of the summer, Matador is a fast-paced spy series centered on Tony Bravo, a up & coming star in pro soccer – who happens to be an undercover agent for the CIA. The series features smart, fast-paced action, global conspiracies, heart-warming family moments and even a bit of soccer.

In this week’s episode, The Anguish of Rosarito, Tony’s cover may be at risk as a result of the events of the last two episodes – despite the best efforts of his handler, Annie Mason. Check out a teaser – and a new clip – following the jump. Matador airs on El Rey, Tuesdays (9/8C).

Matador: Spies, Soccer and Secrets!

El Rey’s Matador (Tuesdays, 9/8C) is the second original scripted series for the network and catches the cachet of the World Cup, the idea of the 1% taking over the world, and good old espionage. It’s a bit like a current take of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. with a Hispanic Napoleon Solo. It’s smart, fun and knowing.

El Rey Orders Second Season of Matador!

El Rey’s spy series Matador doesn’t even premiere until next week but the network, clearly pleased by what it sees so far, has given the show a 13- episode second season order.

A sneak peek of the premiere episode becomes available this week on numerous platforms including iTunes, Vudu and Xbox 360. For more, follow the jump.

Battlestar Galactica/Eureka Vet James Callis Joins El Rey’s Matador!

James Callis – best know for playing Dr. Gaius Baltar on Battlestar Galactica and the the benefactor of Eureka, Dr. Trevor Grant – has been signed to play Lucien Sayer on El Rey’s new espionage series, Matador. Sayer is ‘a mysterious figure who commands a fraternity of the world’s most elite businessmen, politicians and influencers.’

Matador is Tony ‘Matador’ Bravo, a former DEA agent who uses his cover as the newest star of soccer’s L.A. Riot  to track down a secret cabal of the world’s wealthiest men – who believe they should be running the world. Matador is El Rey’s second original scripted series and premieres on Tuesday, July 15th (9/8C). For more, check out the press release after the jump.
