VIZ Media Welcomes My Hero Academia Creator to Comic-Con 2018!

My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi will make his first North American professional appearance at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2018

Horikoshi will appear on two panels for VIZ Media – the official My Hero Academia panel and the Weekly Shonen Jump panel – as well as a pair of Autograph sessions.

Comic-Con International takes place July 18th–22nd at the San Diego Convention Center, in San Diego, CA.

Funimation Nabs Streaming Right to My Hero Academia!

My Hero Academia

Funimation Entertainment has licensed exclusive North American streaming rights to My Hero Academia from Toho Co. Ltd.

The series is based on the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi in which follows Izuku, a teenager who has always wanted to be a superhero – but in a world where 80% of the people have some kind of powers – labeled ‘quirks’ – he has yet to show any signs of having one. And yet, he enrolls himself in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.

My Hero Academia will premiere on Funimation’s streaming service Funimation now, on April 1st. For more, follow the jump.
