HBO Max has announced the exclusive acquisition of streaming rights to The Big Bang Theory prequel series, Young Sheldon – giving the streaming service the combination Sheldon young and old(er), as it also has the complete series of The Big Bang Theory currently streaming.
CBS has given Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon a full season order. The show’s series premiere retained 98% of its Big Bang Theory lead-in for its series premiere.
