LucasFilm Unveils Rogue One Character Posters!

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story looming in the near future, LucasFilm has released a series of character portraits/posters of the film’s key characters – framed in the greenish light from a transparent light board.

Besides Jyn Orso (above), there are posters for Baze Malbus, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, Chirrut Îmwe, K-2SO, Orson Krennic and Saw Gerrara. Check ’em out after the break (double click on images to embiggn).

An international trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has the tiniest bit of new footage and it’s food for thought.

The extra beat concerns the source of the leaked information about the Empire’s new weapon and it creates a link between that source and one of the Rogue One team. Check it out after the jump.

True Story: A Distillation of Evil From A Slight Remove!

True Story - Prison Visit

True Story is, oddly enough, based on a true story – Christian Longo murdered his family and disappeared. When he was captured, in Mexico, he was posing as a journalist named Mike Finkel. Mike Finkel was a New York Times reporter who was fired for fabricating the subject of an important story – and became the only person Longo would talk to.

Finkel’s book, True Story, detailed those conversations and was a bestseller. The film adapted from the book is intriguing, occasionally compelling but creates a distance between itself and its audience that it almost but not quite earns back.
