Peter Pan Diamond Edition Blu-ray Review! Michelle’s Take!
Sprinkle some pixie dust on your Blu-ray player. The 1953 Disney Classic, Peter Pan, finally flies to High Def (ok this sentence doesn’t quite work, but I’m sticking with it.) As a movie, Peter Pan is a bit too old fashioned for my taste, but it is a timeless story for a reason. It’s themes […]
Frankenweenie Comes to home to Glorious 3D Blu-ray! Michelle’s Review
I know this may shock you but Tim Burton is weird! A strange, strange, man and his latest Animated film Frankenweenie is just another example of his disturbidness (is that a word? No? I’m going with it). His latest animated film is a black and white affair that is a retailing of the Frankenstein story […]
Peter Pan Returns to Blu-ray
You know Disney they giveth and taketh away and then giveth again. The Peter Pan: Diamond Edition comes to Blu-ray for a “limited” time next Spring. Here’s a sneak peak.
Once Upon A Time: Season One Blu-ray, reviewed by Michelle!

Both Grimm and Once Upon A Time are Crime Procedurals set in the world of Fairytales. While Grimm’s conceit is the fables are all “figurative” the folks […]

John Carter comes to 3D Blu-ray and Michelle Likes It
I’m not sure why John Carter failed at the Box Office, I enjoyed the movie for what it was and thought it had the makings to be a pretty decent franchise. It is now available in a nice Blu-ray 3D Combo pack that includes the 3D, 2D and Digital Copy version of the film.
War Horse Blu-ray – Michelle’s Take
My War Horse journey is now complete. It started at the world premiere, then award season and now Joey the horse comes to Blu-ray in a 4 disc combo set. This movie holds up remarkably well and gets better with each successive viewing. I can’t say that about most movies.

DVD Review: The Muppets Wocka Wocka Value Pack Lives Up to its Name
Life’s a happy song whenever the Muppets are around. Studio executives should take note; this is the kind of product you get when you put a film in the hands of someone who has obvious passion for what they are doing. Jason Segel championed this movie for years and it’s clear that everyone involved has […]
Lady and the Tramp Blu-Ray Review!
After watching Disney’s latest restoration, I’ve come to the conclusion that I want a pet – probably a cat. But if I can get a dog as beautiful as Lady or the Tramp then I can see myself going for a puppy. Disney’s new transfer of the 1955 classic gives the movie a fresh coat […]
