Felicia Day really started something when she worked up the Geek & Sundry YouTube channel – but Caper, a new webseries from Amy Berg (Eureka, Leverage, Person of Interest) and Mike Sizemore (the stage version of Howl’s Moving Castle), may have exceeded even her expectations. Caper is about a group of superheroes/roommates who, after finding that superheroics don’t pay the rent, decide to go rogue.

The cast is exceptional – The 4400’s Joel Gretsch is a regular and the poverty-stricken superheroes are played by Beth Riesgraf (Leverage), Abby Miller (Justified), Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) and Hartley Sawyer (Glory Daze). The superheroics are done in animation, motion comics style. The series is directed by Donald Murphy (The Town, No Country for Old Men). Check out the trailer after the jump. Caper debuts on Geek & Sundry next month.
