Generally I don’t allow political discussions on this site, and don’t like to see postings of downer topics – like the Sniper shootings, etc. But I just wanted to say how shocked and truly saddened that I am, that one of the FEW people in congress that I admired died in a plane crash today. Senator Paul Wellstone was often described as being one of the most “liberal” Senators in the Senate.
Me being a liberal myself always admired Wellstone for being a man who stuck by his principles and never waviering or doing something because it was politically expedient to do so. He will surely be missed.
