“What A Girl Wants” is a pleasant, predictable romantic comedy. Good performances and the music is NOT ear shattering. Basically, a date movie. (And once again, if you have not seen the trailers, you will enjoy it even more.) GRADE = “B-”

“Bringing Down the House” is a predictable, enjoyable comedy starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. A recently divorced lawyer’s life (Martin) is turned upside-down by an internet date (Latifah) from a lawyers chatroom. Expect lots of jargon. (You will enjoy it even more if you have NOT seen trailers.) GRADE = “B+”
