I’m an unabashed Prince fam and will see him almost every chance I can get. Last year I flew to Vegas to see him at The Hard Rock Hotel. Now it looks like he’s going to be playing some gigs in London. London’s calling people! The funny aspect of this Press Conference is his venue. The announcement will be made from singer Lianne La Havas flat. The two met during his last tour and she jammed with him at Paisley Park and she suggested this stunt as a joke.
This is Prince so we don’t know a thing about the type of venues he’ll be playing. Will it be stadiums, clubs, or what? All they said was it would be “iconic venues.” He generally does stadiums when he’s overseas so it seems like a reasonable assumption. I’ve been looking for an excuse to go to London again – I love that city, hate the food. The English can’t cook. We’ll know for sure February 3rd.
