“MONICA THE MEDIUM” RETURNS FOR SEASON TWO ON MONDAY, APRIL 25

Season Two Finds Monica in a Brand New City Offering More Healing Messages from Departed Loved Ones

Produced by Dave Caplan’s Trooper Entertainment in Association with Lionsgate TV

Monica Ten-Kate brings her gift of communicating with spirits to the west coast when she moves to California, on the season two premiere of “Monica the Medium,” airing MONDAY, APRIL 25 (10:00—11:00 p.m. EDT). The show is produced by Dave Caplan’s Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate TV.

Monica and her BFF/roommate Krista decide to move to California. After harsh winters in State College, Pennsylvania, the girls have resolved to change their lives completely and head out to San Diego, where there is plenty of sunshine, new opportunities and new people to help. They have to find a place to live, take on roommates, sign up for classes at a different school and reestablish Monica’s medium business on a different coast. Monica will still have to juggle her time between friends, family, boys, bills, school and spirits, with living near the beach as an added distraction.

In season two, she befriends world renowned medium James Van Praagh, joining him to co-host a group reading. In addition, this season will find her giving readings at a truck stop, during a surf lesson and at a mud run—and even reading her new roommate. While initially nervous about people’s reactions to her gift, she finds she is embraced and ends up bringing healing messages of love, forgiveness, humor and hope to dozens of people, in private one-on-one sessions, group readings and chance encounters with strangers on the street.

The show is produced by Dave Caplan’s Trooper Entertainment in association with Lionsgate TV. Caplan will serve as executive producer alongside Malachi McGlone.
