Comic-Con 2016: BOOM! Studios Goes Roller Derby!

The final pre-Comic-Con 2016 pit stop on BOOM! Studio’s Road to San Diego is a new title from their BOOM! Box imprint (home of the incredibly good Lumberjanes series) called SLAM!

It’s a book set in the wild world of roller derby and further details will be revealed in San Diego. The character designs are pretty cool.

Road to San Diego Announcement #10

Our tenth and final announcement in the #RoadToSanDiego is a new series debuting in November called SLAM!, coming from our BOOM! Box imprint. (Please note SLAM! should be set off in all caps followed by an exclamation point, just like BOOM!.)

SLAM! is set in the world of roller derby, as you can tell by the character designs below. More details and the creative team will be announced at the BOOM! Studios: Discover New Worlds panel at Comic-Con, taking place at 12:30pm in Room 24ABC of the Convention Center.
