Colbert Nabs Clooney, Bush For Premiere of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert!


When The Late Show with Stephen Colbert premiere on Tuesday, September 8th, Stephen’s first guests will be George Clooney and Republican presidential candidate, Jeb Bush.

We will also get our taste of Colbert’s house band, Jon Baptiste and Stay Human.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT premieres with a week full of guests who span the worlds of film, politics, business and music beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Guests appearing on Sept. 8 are Academy Award winner George Clooney, Republican presidential candidate and former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush and a musical performance by THE LATE SHOW’s bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human and special guests.

During THE LATE SHOW’s inaugural week, Colbert will also welcome Scarlett Johansson, Amy Schumer, Stephen King, Tesla Motors and Space X CEO Elon Musk and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. In addition, the show will feature musical performances by GRAMMY® Award-winning artists Kendrick Lamar and Toby Keith, as well as Troubled Waters.
