Ron Krauss gained much of his early experience Directing music videos, and commercials under his company Aron Productions. Many of the video were success ful in breaking out new artists on MTV and BET such as Lit, Nas, and Luca.
His unique visual imagery combined with solid storytelling had earned him several honors for his work. “”It was a truly creative world, and a great place for me to be at the time.”” Krauss recalls. Now Krauss is getting his first major film break with the Sci-Fi Channel’s original movie “”Alien Hunter,”” starring James Spader.We recently caught up with the new director and here’s what he had to say for himself.EM I like to start all my interviews off with my overly broad question, tell us who you are and why we are speaking with you today? EMWhat can you tell us about Alien Hunter?RK It is a really cool movie!! It has some great characters, special effects, and aliens. EM What was your inspiration for it? RKFilms such as The Thing, The Andromeda Strain, Altered States, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and 2001: A Space Odyssey. 2001 is one of my all time favorite films. The lead actor of 2001, Keir Dullea, is in Alien Hunter. He plays the role of Secretary Bayer. I wanted to have him in my film as homage to Kubrick
