As if American Pie 3, aka American Wedding, isn’t going to be popular enough, the filmmakers have come up with a publicity plan that is sure to get attention. They’re holding an open casting call to find an “18-to-22-year-old knockout” to play the sister of Alyson Hannigan’s lovable flute-playing character, Michelle.

Anybody who’s interested can show up in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Stage 19 on the Universal Studios lot at 3900 Lankershim Boulevard in Universal City (enter at Gate 3 on Muddy Waters Drive). Interested actresses/models must bring a photo that the filmmakers can keep.

Universal Pictures’ American Wedding will be directed by Jesse Dylan (How High) from a screenplay by Adam Herz, who wrote American Pie 1 and 2. The cast includes stars from the previous movies, such as Jason Biggs, Hannigan, Eugene Levy and Seann William Scott. The film is scheduled to begin production in Los Angeles in January.
