3DGO Talks to Michelle about their new 3D Streaming Service!

3DGO Interview

Are you in the mood to rent and stream a 3D movie but always disappointed in the very limited selections – assuming you can even find an online service that even supports 3D movies? iTunes doesn’t support 3D, Vudu just started a limited selection of 3D streams, don’t even get me started with Cable OnDemand. 3DGO has stepped in to fill this gap. Their new online service is dedicated to streaming 3D movies.  Check out my video interview after the break – and yes, I put in a very rare appearance on camera. What was I thinking!? 🙂

In only its first few weeks of operation, the service already has over 300 movies available to rent ($5.99 – $7.99) and partnerships with most of the major studios including Dreamworks, Disney (lots of Pixar 3D love), Paramount, and a few others. However, no Warner Brothers yet, but then WB doesn’t really do 3D (that much).

The app launched on Vizio Connected TVs and will soon expand to other devices. A few weeks ago, I caught up with Richard LaBerge, Sensio (parent company of 3DGO) co-founder and VP of marketing and had a conversation about 3D and where the market is heading. The Video is after the break.
