TNT is taking The Last Ship and Falling Skies to Comic-Con 2015 for two different reasons.
While this year’s Falling Skies Panel will be part the process of bidding farewell to a long-running sci-fi favorite, the network will be giving fans of The Last Ship an opportunity to experience the show in the Oculus Rift – being transported directly in the show’s world, as well as being able to attend a panel dealing with the show’s second season season.

TNT is teaming up with Madefire to produce The Last Ship Motion Book – a free digital comic book to lead into the second season of basic cable’s #1 new drama series which returns on Sunday, June 21st.
The Last Ship Motion Book is written by Chuck Dixon (Batman, The Punisher) in close association with TLS executive producers Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane, with art by Renato Arlem (Supergirl, X-Men) and Omar Francia (Batan, Star Wars).
The five-issue digital comic will be offered for free through the Madefire App. The first six pages of The Last Ship Motion Book will also be made available as a print one-off for Free Comic book Day on Saturday, May 2nd. Follow the jump for details.
