Zenescope Entertainment Announces Plans for Emerald City Comic Con 2019
HORSHAM, PA, March 5, 2019 — Comic book and graphic novel publisher, Zenescope Entertainment, has announced its plans for Emerald City Comic Con 2019. The convention will run March 14th-17th, 2019 and will be located at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle with Zenescope appearing at booth #2415 throughout the four-day event.
Among the dozens of trade paperbacks, box collections and various merchandise available at Zenescope booth during the convention weekend, the company will also be debuting four separate Emerald City Exclusive Comics with cover artwork by ultra-talented illustrators: Keith Garvey and Sabine Rich. These exclusive comic book issues are all limited editions, ranging from 100 to 350 total copies, and will be available only while supplies last.
Also showcased during the weekend will be Zenescope’s brand new Sela Mathers (aka Snow White) statue, which was recently crowd-funded through Kickstarter. This is the first in Zenescope’s line of bishoujo-style collectible statues based on the company’s most iconic female characters. Designed by artist Jason Cardy, the collectible statue comes in black-and-white and color and is limited to 1750 and 250 respectively.
Zenescope will also be launching its brand new “pin program,” in partnership with collectible pin company, FanSets. Twenty-three pins will be released throughout the year, including an exclusive Emerald City Comic Con pin, featuring Zenescope character, Britney Waters, aka Red Riding Hood. Zenescope staff members at the booth will also have special employee pins, and the only way customers can get them is by trading with staff to become the ultimate Zenescope pin collector.
