“The Life of David Gale” (scheduled for 2/21)
tells the tale of a man soon to be executed
in Texas who agrees to finally talk with the
press for a half a million dollars.
The good news – good performances and
photography.
The bad news – needs to be re-edited to
eliminate 20 – 30 minutes (too much footage
of the following : nudity, unprotected casual
sex, and smoking) and very contrived /
heavy-handed. Over 2 hours long.
